We read books and relax on the porch of the rental house, and love riding around the island on the golf cart. The beaches are beautiful and peaceful. "The home we rented was lovely; just the right space for our needs. The place was clean, spacious, and very family-friendly (puzzles, games, and vidoes for kids), staff were friendly and helpful; I even ran into an employee at the grocery store who was helpful when I made a comment about not finding the silverware (it was there - I just had not looked in the right place). Overall a great experience - I will definitely use Ocracoke Island Realty again!"

"These folks are great. Prior to our trip they were quick to answer all of our questions. The house we stayed in was very clean and stocked with the essential. During our stay we had a concern about the water system and literally with in15 minutes they sent a maintenance crew over. The chemicals were low in the purification system so they left and came back 10 minutes later and finished. This bunch is committed to customer service, which allowed us to get back to our vacation. The water at the house is not drinkable and the 5 gallons of water they provide only lasted us (family of four) about one day. We were prepared for this and brought along one five gallon water cooler and a five gallon tank. A water filling station is located at the Native Fish Market and only cost $3 per five gallons. We loved our experience so much that we booked again for next year with them. Go and enjoy you'll be glad you did."

The pool was great, bikes to cruise the village, chairs by the water to relax and enjoy the view, fresh baked cookies and snacks, and the breakfast was outstanding!!! The only suggestion would be a new mattress. The room we stayed in "Katie" was very cozy and fit our needs perfectly. Thank you for the hospitality, we will be back :)"
