OC58: Flip Flops

Perfect cleaning job by the crew to start our stay. Easy rebooking for next year at Flip Flops at the realty office...always professional and friendly (our 14th year with OIR. Flip Flops was a "new" choice for us. Other than a few problems with boards on the upper deck, we truly enjoyed Flip Flops. Comfortable and attractive furnishings, nice color schemes, airy living room, very good kitchen, excellent AC, spacious interior...an all around good choice for us, and we're glad we were able to rebook for same week next year. OIR made the process easy and FAST. Good experience all around!

The space and location was perfect for our family including our 2 dogs! We enjoyed the look out/crows nest area especially in the evenings when the moon was rising. Great for star gazing. The kitchen had the necessities for cooking meals and the deck areas had plenty of seating options. The sunrooms were nice areas for reading, yoga or eating outside without worrying about bugs. We could all sit comfortably inside on the couches to play games or watch a movie too. We had everything we needed for a nice vacation and its family friendly house. The only con was that deck had a lot of loose boards and rusted nails that were coming out of the wood. So we just had to be careful with the kids and dogs on the deck to lookout for that.

The house was in a prime location and had great views. The outside shower was awesome and the weather for our week was perfect. Has a great layout that worked great for our multigenerational family. The house does have some deferred maintenance that need a to be taken care of. The deck had lots of rotten boards and boards that were sticking up that made it unsafe. Maintenance fixed a few of the boards right away. The shared bath with the tub’s finish was chipped and the drain plug and faucet were completely loose. The kitchen was very well equipped but microwave and fridge don’t open all the way because of the cabinets. Again, great house just needs some work!

Home is ideally located in super quiet neighborhood and has excellent canine amenities including a porch/deck system with locking gates. Outdoor features are strong with highlight being widow’s watch with beautiful water & sunset views. Home is listed as sleeping 8 and is best if 2-3 are children or small people.

Lovely house. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is very well appointed. A few notes— lower bed in the bunk room could use a new mattress. Back porch needs new furniture. Overall a great experience though! Will stay again.

Great house and location. Dog friendly. We have stayed in this house 2 years in a row and will stay again. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor shower is always great to have, would add some steeping stones to the shower. Could use some more spoons and sharpen the knives. One plank missing on the stairs to the yard, needs to be fixed.

We had a nice stay at the Flip Flop house. It was what we expected. I would of liked a bigger beds for the extra bedrooms, since we had 8 adults. Otherwise everything else was great.

Flip flops was very nice. A couple issues but the maintenance center is always, without fail, ready to correct and fix anything. They’re awesome! Great location and star gazing decks were wonderful.
