Description

Follow the Heron is located near the end of a quiet, dead-end street. Enjoy this private location which is in easy walking and biking distance to several island restaurants and coffee shops.

3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths: Main House first floor Master Bedroom with Queen. Second floor offers one bedroom with Double and one bedroom with two Twins. 2.5 Baths in the Main House. The Studio is not available.

Enjoy an open floor plan. The first floor features a master bedroom with private deck and Jacuzzi in the master bathroom. A half bath is also located on the first floor which includes the washer/dryer. The second floor features two bedrooms and a full hallway bathroom.

Additional amenities include central air conditioning and heat, ceiling fans, wireless internet access, whirlpool tub, fireplace (off season only), well-stocked kitchen including a dishwasher and microwave. Satellite TV and Blu-Ray DVD. Washer and dryer.

*This home does not provide linens. No Phone.

The exterior features several separate deck areas, a screened porch and a generous treed yard. Gas grill, outdoor hot/cold shower, covered parking, deck swing and fish bench.

No Smoking. Pet friendly (dogs only). Parking is Limited to 3 vehicles.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.

What's New for 2020: Studio will not be offered as part of the rental property. Follow the Heron... will offer the main home with 3 Bedrooms and 2.5 Baths.

Property Layout:

First Floor: Living Area with TV/Blu-Ray DVD, Kitchen, Dining Area, Half Bath, Master Bedroom with Queen Bed. Master Bath has a Tub/Shower.

Second Floor: Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds. Bedroom with Double Bed. Hall Bath with Tub/Shower.

*Linens, Bikes, Beach Items, Cottage and Baby Items, and more are available through Beach Outfitters. Advance orders of Beach Outfitters items can be made any time prior to your arrival by calling Ocracoke Island Realty.

Love the house. Had a great time with whole family here. Got stuck in rooms or locked out of house due to tough door knobs and BAD keys! Other than that, first house in years we would consider renting again. But next year, 2 weeks!!

With our growing family, this year we chose Follow the Heron after many years of staying in another home. We found this house to be excellent, comfortable and homey, plenty of space, and had everything we needed. Our vacation was, as always, perfect. We biked, fished, talked, ate, played games, and just enjoyed being together. Thank you for another wonderful vacation on this magical and healing Island!
