Great stay again at Point of View. I think this was our 11th year of staying there. It is the perfect location for launching kayaks and enjoying your own private beach. House is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has most everything you will need. This house is very well maintained and is also very private on the backside. Probably the best view of Springers Point on the Island.

This was our tenth year to stay at Point of View. We love this house and where it is located. We did all the things we normally do when we come to Ocracoke. Segwayed through town, went to Portsmouth Island and shelled there, dined in all of the great restaurants on Ocracoke, shopped at all the shops, went to the Home Shipwreck at Ramp 67, kayaked through the creeks and ocean marshes, and just had a great time. This house is so accommodating!

Point of View is a wonderful house in an incredible location. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting on the deck watching the ferries and fishermen going by. The birds are endlessly fascinating as well. The beaches on the whole island are great and there are more wonderful things to do and see in the village than can be accomplished in a whole month. The large selection of restaurants with delightful menus overpowered my normal dietary intake but that's what vacation is for: a break from the usual.

Point of View was great as ever and the housekeeping staff does a great job! I would suggest a better mattress for the bedroom with the balcony (very uncomfortable) - and maybe bed-steps for it. It is very high to try to jump into when you get older.

Well, I am beginning to sound like a broken record about this lovely Ocracoke Island Vacation home. My wife and I spend last week on Ocracoke Island in Point of View. I checked with Ocracoke Island Realty and this was our 10th stay in this home in the last 11 years. The only year we have missed was the year of COVID. The owner of this lovely Island home continues to invest in the home. This past year the owner has had a lovely metal roof installed, added two new large, big as life, picture windows in the rear of the home facing the Pamlico Sound. I was also impressed that the few items that I noted last year that needed attention were all fixed this year. I am always amazed that year after year this home continues to stay in great condition. In other vacation homes that we have rented on Ocracoke the homes have began to show a lot of wear and tear over time. This home however, is as nice today as it was 10 years ago. I take from that, that there are many repeat renters for this home that feel about it as we do and the owner is very meticulous about the care and maintenance of the home. We had an absolutely perfect weather week with only one day of rain. My wife and I kayaked a lot in the Sound and Inlet. We also brought our personal transporters, the Segway I2's, and enjoyed riding them all over Ocracoke Village. So good to see the islanders that reside here all year long doing so much better post Hurricane Dorian. There are also a number of new homes being built on the island, most of them replacing ones that were destroyed by Dorian. We have already made our reservation for this home next year. Just want to say thank you to the owners of this lovely Ocracoke Home. They have made this a special place to stay and a great place to relax.
