Cedar Tree Cottage was built in 2016 in a traditional Coastal Craftsman Style to exemplify Ocracoke’s historic charm and character while offering all the modern day comforts you’ll need for your laid-back Ocracoke vacation.. This one-story home sits low to the ground with a wheelchair ramp to the rear exterior. Nature-lovers will appreciate the mature trees and vegetation that surround the home for plenty of privacy. The curb appeal is undeniable, with cedar shakes, classic coastal features and a welcoming front porch that's screened in. The charm continues inside with a gas fireplace, shiplap walls and hardwood floors. A cathedral ceiling gives an open spacious feeling that balances the cozy charm of the living space. Prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances and a farmhouse sink. Two bedrooms, one queen and one pyramid bunk bed (twin on top, double on the bottom), a full bath and a half bath is perfect for small families or a romantic getaway for couples.

When you're ready to venture out, you won't have to go far to find a variety of shopping, dining and famous Ocracoke attractions. Cedar Tree Cottage is located on Lighthouse Road with a short walk to Springer's Point Preserve and the Ocracoke Lighthouse. You're a five minute walk from Silver Lake Harbor and many locally owned businesses that make this island community a one-of-a-kind destination.

2 Bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 Baths: 1 with Queen, 1 with a pyramid bunk (double on bottom and twin on top).

Amenities include Central Heat and Air, Smart TV, gas stove, dishwasher, stackable washer/dryer, gas fireplace, complimentary internet access.

The exterior offers a front screened porch, open back deck, park style charcoal grill and outdoor shower.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds will be made for your arrival with the exception of the top bunk.

This property accepts partial week stays within two weeks of arrival with a three night minimum.

Pets are not allowed. No smoking/vaping. No phone.

Parking limited to one vehicle.

Level Layout: Entry door is at the rear of the house via the ramp and back deck. Dining and living area open to the kitchen. Large full bathroom accessed off hallway between living area and primary bedroom with queen bed. Bedroom with queen bed. Second bedroom with pyramid bunk bed (double on bottom, twin on top) is accessed from the living area and includes a connected en suite half bath. Screened porch on the front of the house from the living area. Loft area for owner storage and not for guest's use.
