Doggy Paddle, formerly Oar House, is new to OIR for 2026! This one-story, pet-friendly home is the perfect cozy getaway for couples and their four-legged friends. Located on Loop Road, just steps from Springer's Point Nature Trail, this home is perfect for birders and nature lover's with a screened porch overlooking a quiet pond in the back.

The interior features an open living room and galley style kitchen, a bedroom with king bed, and bathroom with walk-in tiled shower.

Amenities include AC/Heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, smart TV, and washer and dryer.

The exterior offers screened porch, deck, outdoor shower, and charcoal grill.

Pets Allowed. No smoking/vaping.

Sheets and towels are not provided.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Loved the house! Nicer than our last house wit Blue Heron. We liked your staff also. No complaints but I miss having a fenced in back yard for my dog.

New owners have made so many thoughtful improvements. I love the new sectional sofa, the large mirror in the bedroom, the shower and w/d. Kitchen is much better equipped. Coded front door and new storm door is wonderful. I wish the right slider still opened. Also I would love to see a real closet rod in the bedroom closet. Love the new mini split HVAC units. Happy to be coming back in 2027 for my 5th year !

This was our second year at Doggy Paddle. The new owners have made significant updates that definitely added to our comfort and enjoyment. We love sitting on the porch in the early morning watching the pond life. It is so peaceful. The house is within walking distance to Springers Point and Silver lake. A good location for exploring Ocracoke. We love Doggy Paddle.
