Sun-Inspired is located on Ocracoke's Back Road, offering convenient access to Silver Lake Harbor, restaurants, unique shops, galleries, and watersports.

In the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee on the screened porch or relax on the front deck and watch the world go. Sun-Inspired is located on a uniquely spacious island property.

3 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 Baths: 2 with King, 1 with two Pyramid Beds (twin on top and double on bottom).

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat and ceiling fans. Complimentary wireless Internet access. 3 Roku adapted TVs with Netflix, located in Living Room with 55 inch TV and Blu-Ray player, 1st-floor bedroom with 50 inch TV, and 2nd-floor bedroom with 40 inch TV. The pyramid bedroom has a 40 inch TV with a DVD player (no Roku/Netflix access).

Kitchen amenities include a wine refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee, and a standard coffee maker. The dining table accommodates six people (plus additional outdoor dining). Washer/dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival, with the exception of the top bunks.

The exterior offers an unheated saltwater pool, a large front deck, a spacious and inviting 10' x 36' rear screened porch and an outdoor dining table with seating for eight. Large front and rear yard, a separate rear-fenced pet area with direct access from the screened porch, hot/cold outdoor shower, two hammocks, park-style charcoal grill, and a fish cleaning bench.

The floors seemed a bit more gritty/sandy than usual when we arrived. Otherwise everything else was clean and fresh. A ceiling fan outside on the screened in porch would be a great addition to the house. We loved the new glider chairs on the front porch.

Wonderful time… your staff was always polite, friendly, and willing to help. Did not have any complaints only a few things we found wrong with the house, ice maker did not work, fire alarm beeping ( maybe needed a battery and only started night before checkout) GFI on plugs on front porch did not work to charge golf cart, and toilet in master bathroom needs to be checked for flushing… we really love this house and hopefully can be back again…

House was great, but there was no internet when we arrived and no follow up to fix it the entire stay. I personally don’t mind no internet, but it meant no tv, no texting, no email and barely any cell service. Which made it impossible to communicate with family over the holiday, no thanksgiving day parade, no football and no movie nights with the kids.

We stayed at Sun-Inspired for our 2nd year in a row and absolutely loved the property, especially the open-plan living area, screened back porch, and private pool! Only suggestion would be to add ceiling fans to the back porch because it can get really hot out there.
