Before being moved to its current location, Bella Grace was the home of Mr. Tommy Howard, Ocracoke's postmaster from 1901-1941. You will find the charming old style bead board and flooring in parts with all the modern conveniences.

4 bedrooms, 2 and a half baths: 2 with King, 1 with Queen, 1 with Pyramid Bunk (Double on the bottom, Twin on top).

Amenities include complimentary Starlink wireless internet access, central AC/heat, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and six smart TVs-streaming only.

The exterior offers a front screened porch, a back deck with dining table, a fully enclosed fenced yard with privacy fence, outdoor shower, 2 park-style charcoal grills, and fish cleaning bench.

Sheets and towels provided. Beds will be made for your arrival.

First Floor: Dining Room with Smart TV, couch sitting area, and wet bar. Galley style kitchen with access to dining room, back deck , and Master bedroom with King and bath with tub and shower. Laundry Room. Living Room with access to master, pyramid bunk room, and front deck. Half bathroom.

Second Floor: Queen bedroom. Full bath with shower only. King bedroom.

Partial week stays of less than a week (3 night minimum) are welcomed at this Ocracoke vacation rental from October thru April.

Pets allowed - dogs only. No smoking/vaping.

Loved the house. Kitchen was very well equipped. Everything was clean and comfortable. Nice that the TV’s & WiFi worked well. Loved the outdoor shower. The front and back porches were great! We spent a lot of time on both. Only suggestion I’d like to have done next year, if we get to rent it next year, is to have the backyard mowed before we come. It was pretty high. Not really complaint. Just a suggestion.

We stayed at Bella Grace and wow we loved the house. We have been renting dog friendly houses in the Outer Banks for 10 years. While most houses in Duck, Nags Head and Kitty were fabulous, the Bella Grace property is our FAVORITE! The attention to detail from amenities to decor is exceptional. The huge back yard and lovely deck was enjoyed by the dogs, Michael and me. The front porch was so comfy especially on the one rainy day we had. Being so close to town was a treat and we could walk everywhere. We will definitely stay again and have already recommended this property to family and friends!
