This two-bedroom vacation home on Ocracoke Island is located directly on Pamlico Sound with a private boat dock and beautiful water views. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the large deck. Spacious interior.

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 1 with Queen, 1 with Queen and one Twin.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless Internet access, and streaming TV. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers a private boat dock, a large deck, screened porch, charcoal grill, outdoor shower, and fish cleaning bench. 2 single kayaks and 1 double kayak. Life jackets are not provided. If you wish to rent them, please get in touch with Ride The Wind Surf Shop. They will be happy to assist.

This home does not provide linens.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. The fireplace is not available. Limit of 3 vehicles.

No Partial Stays.

House was great -- service/communication very effective and easy. Maintenance came promptly when the battery to the lock needed replacement. 2 house comments -- housekeeping was great --no complaints at all, but we gently suggest they also clean the dusty air vents. And we battled with the microwave going on Pause at odd times. Not sure it is functioning well. Thank you!!!

Excellent location and a very comfortable cottage, "Long Way Home". Only complaint is that there are no instructions on the refrigerator or elsewhere about operating the Roku TV. Please provide. When I selected "Live TV" I could not get any live sports. Nice that an individual came from maintenance, but he left me a note to go to "Live TV", which I already knew.

We stayed at "Long Way Home" NP03 in June of 2024 and were very pleased with our stay. The house was very nice and the views were outstanding. The rental company was very easy to work with and very responsive. We had no issues and would recommend this property for anyone looking for great water views (especially sunsets) and a quite neighborhood. Owners left a nice welcome card upon our arrival. Wonderful property.

Great week on the Island! The house was clean and comfortable as it was last year. A couple of suggestions: blinds on the dining room and kitchen door for privacy from deck next door. Also, the AC filter looks like it hasn't been changed in years!! Otherwise, great!
