Uncle Milton's offers easy walking distance to village activities, shops, galleries and restaurants. This cozy, newly updated dog friendly cottage is within walking distance to Silver Lake Harbor. Enjoy marsh views from the deck and sun porch.

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath: Bedroom with Queen bed. Living/dining area with Double Sleeper Sofa. Sun Room with a view of the marsh. Bath has a shower stall.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and 2 cable TVs. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers a hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill, fish bench and plenty of decking.

*This home does not provide linens.

Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limit of 2 Dogs. No Smoking. Limit of 2 vehicles.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at time of booking.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Very comfy cottage. Kitchen was well stocked although I couldn’t find potholders anywhere. Huge fridge. Loved the small sunroom off the kitchen. Large bedroom. Mattress was comfortable. Only had a bedspread so make sure to bring blanket. Would stay again!

Uncle Milton’s is a perfect cottage for a couple. North Pond is a great area to be in, a bit remote feeling, but still quite walkable into the main part of the village. Ocracoke Island Realty made it easy to book in, find the place in great shape and to check out.

I stayed in Uncle Milton's House and absolutely adored it! I like dealing with Ocracoke Realty because it is always a seamlessly good experience. This time there was a problem with the toilet stopped up, and within the next hour it was taken care of. This was my first time at Uncle Milton's House and it too was perfect. The pictures posted online of the exterior are rather bland, but once you open the front door everything is perfect! Furnished very well and beautiful on the inside. For 2 people, this place really couldn't get much better. I'll definitely be back!

Awesome stay again in the island. We paid a little extra to get into the house earlier, a d we were called around 11am. AWESOME! Hope we can continue doing so. We called the office with a few concerns when we arrived. Minor damages to the house we were staying at. Everyone was really friendly and offered to help out in any way. We decided to try to get a different house for.next year and stopped by the office and the ladies were very helpful getting us the information we needed. See everyone again next year!!

We loved Uncle Milton’s cottage. The house was well updated and was very clean when we arrived. The home had everything we needed. The check in and check out process was so much easier than in years past. Having a code sent to us and not having to worry about a key was really nice. Thank you for a great experience.

We loved the renovated cottage and the automated text messages with the keyless door locks. It was so easy and convenient. And as always, we had a wonderful time on the island. My favorite part is not driving for a whole week. I love being able to bike, walk and drive a golf cart around the island. And the addition of the tram is lovely! Thank you!!
