Dockside Sunset is a wonderful single story waterfront home offering amazing views of the Pamlico Sound. Enjoy a front row seat to spectacular Ocracoke sunsets from your covered porch, lookout deck or your private dock. We invite you to experience this charming home nestled in Northern Pond with a modern kitchen for your cooking and entertaining pleasure.

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 1 with California King, 1 with Queen, and 1 with 2 Twins.

Amenities include complimentary Starlink wireless Internet access, central air conditioning/heat, and one internet TV. Dining table with seating for four plus a breakfast bar with seating for three. Standard coffee maker. Dishwasher and microwave. Washer and dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers a private dock, covered porch with water view, rooftop deck, and covered ground deck. Outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill, and bike rack. Covered parking.

No Smoking/Vaping Allowed. No Pets Allowed.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at the time of booking.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Dockside sunset was the perfect acommodation for a full week at the beach. Beds were great. The pictures were accurate and all the fittings were just a little bit better than expected. Cooked an 18 inch paella on the great Irish cook top. There is a short cut to Smacnallies to the right which made walking that much easier.

Beautiful home, comfortable beds and an amazing view and Dock. Kids enjoyed hanging out and floating in the water. Just would recommend a large steaming pot for cooking shrimp and clams as we tend to eat in and there was nothing available. Next time we will bring one from home.

Great place/location/decor. I'm a cook and loved eqpt in kitchen! Great knives ...... a rarity. Main bed very comfy. Loved the deck and dock. Would have liked instructions for TV. Lighting awful. Too bright and no lamps to read by and no mood lights for dining. Considering upscale of everything, FIX the lighting!!

This cottage is clean, convenient and has a great kitchen. A previous review said the selection of pots and pans was limited but not now. New set of Green Pans that were great! Never used the pans I brought. My suggestion to the owner is to provide small sized bowls, adult beverage glasses and reading lamps in the living area. Otherwise the cottage was well stocked and comfortable. We would stay there again. We really enjoy the peacefulness, beauty, beaches, great seafood and friendly folk in Ocracoke. If you go check out the Ocrafolk Opry. Ocracoke has some talented musicians!

The house was noisy! The AC vent rattled, the kitchen exhaust fan rattled. The furniture, especially the deck furniture, was uncomfortable. The view of the sound is what redeemed it all, but even so, I won’t rent this house again.

House was comfortable and easy to live in for a week. Having the pier out back was a wonderful feature especially for those who wanted to fish. I would highly recommend this house and the rental agency was easy to work with.

Dockside Sunset was a lovely property and a great place to show my Mom the island for the first time! The renovations to this home were lovely. They kept the charm of the old school beach cottage but updated all the right places. The access to the dock, the deck, the location, the sunset, the quiet street - made this a 5 star stay! Very small areas of improvement: If you are a gourmet cook, you may want to consider bringing any special cooking instruments you like to use. The kitchen, while beautiful, was a little shy on cookware. The beds were comfortable to sleep in but one rooms had a double mattress on a queen bed and it was "covered up by placing pillows" on the side of the bed. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone!

This home is so welcoming! The post-Dorian renovations added the perfect modernizations without taking away the charm of this house. The home is well-equipped, comfortable, and of course, provides the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Having linens included and beds made is a nice bonus. Such a great vacation! I’ll be back!
