Enjoy this four bedroom Outer Banks vacation home on Ocracoke Island. This canal front home with a tropical flavor and fascinating decorative detail features water and marsh views. The ground floor is a completely screened open-air living area with an efficiency kitchen. Second and third floors offer upfront marsh and sound views from many of the rooms as well as a third floor balcony overlooking the sound .

4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 3 with Queen, 1 with two Queens.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat on the second floor and PTAC air conditioning/heat unit on the third floor, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 2 cable TVs and washer and dryer. No Dishwasher.

The exterior offers *private boat dockage, bulkhead, hot/cold outdoor shower, screened porch, charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench.

*This home does not provide linens.

No Partial Stays.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed.
Very Limited Parking for 3 regular sized cars or 2 trucks.

*Boat dockage at this property is located on the inner side of the canal bridge. Height clearance may be limited, dependent upon individual boat height. Boaters should anticipate five foot vertical clearance at high tide.

The location of the house was just perfect. So peaceful sitting out and watching the water in the mornings. We saw otters playing, birds everywhere, and fish jumping. The house was a bit dated but we very much enjoyed the stay. It was hard to keep the house cool but, I think it's because of the levels and possibly the lights on the 3rd floor. Overall, we had an amazing trip. As always, on the island!!

Amazing! The house was so cool and quirky. Although the fishing wasn’t as good as we thought, the wildlife was incredible!!! So many cool creatures! We would definitely stay again. Wish it was pet friendly!!

The house was great. Kitchen needed baking pans and better cutlery. We love to cook and found it difficult to prepare our meals with what was provided. Bottom drawers in fridge need to be replaced. But over all a great location and my family loved the bottom floor screened in area.

Thank you! We had a great time and the fishing kept the kids entertained for the whole rainy weekend. As for the house there were a few things I want to address. First, it was raining yes. But it shouldn't rain on the inside of the home. The 3rd floor room was soaked by the end of the weekend. All suitcases and clothes were soaked and a few items that shouldn't have gotten wet were ruined. The second floor bedroom at the top of the stair case also had a leak. Photos can be sent of both of these. Second, I realize we were in an area with wildlife, however, there were multiple mice in the house. Traps were obviously placed with Peanutbutter. We are okay with this but would have loved to be notified as we had many small children - one of which has a rodent allergy. Rodent poop on windowsills, in drawers, on top of soap. There was also a case where one had taken the toilet paper and strung it across the bathroom into a corner.
