Relax on the third floor upper deck and take in the amazing panoramic views of Ocracoke and the Pamlico Sound. Contemporary and tastefully decorated in soft pastels with an abundance of interesting artwork.

4 Bedrooms, 4 Baths: 1 Primary Bedroom with Queen and a Twin Daybed, Primary Bedroom with Queen, 1 with two Twins, 1 with 2 Bunk Beds. Queen Size Sleeper Sofa.

Additional amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 5 cable TVs (including a 46 inch TV in the first floor den), The kitchen offers a Keurig and standard coffee maker. Two sets of Washers and Dryers.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival, with the exception of the top bunks.

The exterior offers private boat dockage, bulkhead, screened porches, decks and rooftop deck, a hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench.

No Smoking. Pet Friendly - Dogs Only - Owner prefers Small/Medium Dogs Only. Limit of 2 Dogs. Maximum 4 vehicles.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

We always enjoy Ocracoke and our island time! The weather could have been better but we made the most of it. Spindrift cottage had a ton of room and we enjoyed the location and the porches but there were a bunch of holes and tears in the screens (mosquitoes and bugs weren’t as bad as we have seen in the past thank goodness). The kitchen cooking utensils and cookware could also be improved and there were no rugs in the house to wipe your feet on. Lighting in the downstairs bathrooms also need some attention. But we made do and my friends and I had a wonderful time and made great memories!! See you in September!!

Perfect Family getaway

There were 8 of us staying here, multigenerational family and we all had plenty to do and places to hang out. The screened porches were absolutely the highlight for us, as well as the heating fans in the bathrooms!

The place was great. Just a few comments: 1) With large parties of 12 adults, only 3 trashcans outside was not enough especially if you cook most of your meals at the house. 2) the hose outside was very convenient and got a lot of use. It is getting very worn and cracked. 3) we couldn't get the vacuum cleaner to work but we mainly used the broom due to all of the sand on people's feet. 4) the lights did not work in the upstairs main bathroom. Could not find the circuit breaker box to see if it was just a tripped breaker.

The house was good. Some opportunities were the mattresses were hard as a rock. The lighting had issues throughout and there were a couple of switches that were very hot. The kitchen had 1 frying pan.
