Centrally located, you will be a short bike ride to restaurants, a grocery store, and the nearby beach access. Blue Skies offers a peaceful haven for family and friends. Featuring unique architecture, this 4 bedroom, 3 Bath home is reminiscent of classic seaside cottages. Restful porches and panoramic views will make your stay unforgettable.

Its reverse floor plan has the bedrooms on the first floor and a spacious open living area on the upper level. The second floor vaulted ceilings offer an open airy feel complimented by the home's beautiful furnishings and casual, classic coastal decor. Strategically placed windows provide unparalleled views of nature, the salt marsh and distant Pamlico Sound.

4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths: Three with Queen Bed and one with Daybed w/Trundle.

The first floor offers four bedrooms: two master bedrooms with a private bath and queen bed. The third queen bedroom features a private covered porch. A cozy fourth bedroom with daybed w/trundle (2 twins) could be used as an office by day. There is a third bathroom located off the first floor hallway.

There are several outdoor decks and porches for your enjoyment; including an open deck off the living area, a private covered porch off the bedroom, a welcoming front porch and a spacious screened porch located off the kitchen with a spiral staircase leading to an open deck with amazing panoramic views of the distant ocean, lighthouse, sound and nearby Southpoint Road. Each offer an outdoor escape, a place to gather with family or a quiet space to enjoy a good book or savor your morning coffee. Enjoy a sunrise over the Atlantic or a spectacular Ocracoke sunset all without leaving your home.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 5 cable TVs (including two 47 inch) and 4 DVD players and 1 Blu-Ray DVD Player. Washer and dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers various furnished deck areas, a picnic table, park style charcoal grill, hot/cold outdoor shower and fish cleaning bench.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Maximum 4 vehicles.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Pamlico Point is the newest neighborhood in Ocracoke Village. Travel mapping websites, including GMaps (which is also found on our Location Tab) does not show all current homes or those under construction. If you have any questions about Pamlico Point please do not hesitate to contact our office.

The house was beautiful and the views were amazing.
The TVs in two of the bedrooms didn’t work, but that didn’t affect us much.
The only issue we had and the main reason we won’t be rebooking was the condition of the road.
It’s a backroad that clearly hasn’t been maintained in years. Potholes that would swallow your golf cart if you didn’t pay attention. As that’s not the realty’s fault it would be nice to have a heads up on the conditions on getting there.

We also appreciate your feedback about the road conditions. It is actually constantly maintained, not by the state or county, but by the residents/owners of the homes along the road. A few good downpours and it has to be fixed again. We will consider adding information about that in our pre-arrival details to better prepare future guests. Thank you for staying with us.

Very nice place. Plenty of room for everyone. It is time to clean the rugs or replace them with new or similiar flooring to the kitchen area. Beach chairs were rusted and not usable. Although we were told they were not provided so we brought our own. Having cornhole available was a nice perk. Overall, very clean - smelled really clean when we walked in.

We have been staying at Blue Skies since it was built. We love it! Thank you! Thank you for improving the internet service! Two minor concerns: 1. It's the second year in a row that the refrigerator has smelled strongly of fish. 2. The family members that were housed in the third bedroom (with the deck) said the mattress had a significant "dip" in the middle. Thanks Again and we're looking forward to being back in 2024!
