Enjoy eating or relaxing on the screened in porch. Shrimp House is just around the corner from Ocracoke Coffee Co. to get your day started. You'll find you are off the beaten path but still walking and biking distance for dining and shopping.

2 Bedrooms 1.5 Baths: 1 with Queen, 1 with Double. The full bath with tub/shower is located in the rear sleeping area. A half bath is located in the front living area.

Amenities include: Front living area offers a mini split air conditioning unit, electric fireplace, and 2 ceiling fans. The rear building offers wall AC units in bedrooms and electric baseboard heat in the den. Complimentary wireless internet access, 2 Roku TVs with access to Hulu. Washer and dryer. Microwave.

No Dishwasher. Loft area is not available to guests.

The exterior offers two decks, screened porch, hot/cold outdoor shower and fish cleaning bench.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

No partial week stays.

No Smoking/vaping. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 2 cars.

As always, we had a wonderful time in Ocracoke this past week! The Shrimp House is a super cute cottage and very clean. The decor is the way I decorate so it felt like home. My only suggestion would be to update locks to a passcode. It took us awhile to open and lock the doors. You have to turn it gentle and just the right way to get it to lock or open. We also had to lock the cottage where the bedrooms are from the outside each night and go in through the screened porch. You could not securely lock from the inside. We were frustrated a few times. After we got the hang of it- we felt better and more secure leaving our things in the house. This is just a suggestion but I felt it important enough to share with you.

We love Shrimp House. We would love it more if a small, drawer style or apartment style dishwasher were installed. But that won't keep us from coming back. We applaud the owners for creating a comfortable beach retreat with wonderful art and decor. Whether it rains or shines we are always happy to be at Shrimp House.

Perfect for family of 4

so nice to be able to walk a few minutes to the coffeee shop early in the morning. A loft for the teenager and a bedroom for daughter and third bed for parents. Lovely screened porch on very quiet street surrounded by lush vegitation. A lovely retreat.
