Thoughtfully designed, this single floor plan home is furnished for your comfort from the reclining living room furniture and year-round electric fireplace in the main living area, the TV in the kitchen, to the fenced-yard access from the back screened porch (no need to leave the house to walk the dog).

Ride your bike to Silver Lake Harbor, shopping and galleries, walk to the coffee shop, playground and library.

3 bedrooms, 2 Baths: 2 with King, 1 with 2 Twins. One bathroom has shower only.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and 5 cable TVs. Electric fireplace (available year round). The kitchen offers a wine refrigerator, Keurig and standard coffee maker. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play.

The exterior offers a front porch, rear screened porch, deck swing, an enclosed rear yard, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. Covered parking.

Early Summer Getaway

Very nice location. Close coffee shop. Pet friendly with a nice fenced in yard. Kitchen is well stocked. House is a little dated but comfortable. Steep steps made it a little bit of a challenge with bad knees.

This is probably our 12th wheat in a row staying at the So Dandy. It feels like home. Though we do not have a pet, the home is well set up to accommodate pets without accumulating hair and odors. It is always clean when we check in. We open windows to air out the smell of cleaners and then settle in for a very comfortable two weeks. We love the two king beds which are medium firm with a memory foam type of material. It took a while for us to adjust but felt very accommodating to our aging aches and pains. Our mattress was new this year. We don’t mind bringing our own bedding as it adds to the feeling of homeliness. This year, our grandkids didn’t come visit in this cottage so we felt like we had ample space for 4 adults. The living room to dining room-kitchen L-shape plan allows for much together time but can be cramped with extra bodies. The kitchen comes equipped with everything a chef might desire. I’ve added baking pans and casserole dishes over the years to give everyone more versatility. The back porch is generally quiet though the setting of being in the heart of the busting village always creates background noise. We like its size, layout and porch swing. It is nice being steps away from the Coffee Shop, our regular afternoon hangout. Head there for an iced drink when the lines are negligible. No complaints about this property. It is clean, comfortable and practical. The air is fantastic though the wifi and cellular (T-Mobile) did make my remote work a challenge. Streaming was inconsistent on both making Zoom session unreliable. We will definitely return.
