Downstairs on the ground level, you'll find a grassy front lawn that's fully fenced-in, perfect for kids and yard games.

After a day at the beach or exploring the village, come home and relax in the comfortably furnished great room. It features vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace (off-season use only) for staying cozy on cooler evenings. The dining area provides table seating for six and leads out to an expansive screened porch that's been transformed into an outdoor gathering space. Back inside, get dinner started in the well-equipped kitchen that includes a peninsula with bar seating.

Situated on Cabana Drive, Gray Whale is tucked away in a quiet residential area but less than half a mile Irvin Garrish Highway for a variety of shopping, restaurants and activities. In the mornings, start your day with a brew from Ocracoke Coffee Company, just a three-minute walk from the house. Nearby dining options include Flying Melon and Back Porch Restaurant, both of which are also within walking distance.
