Welcome to Olivella! This quaint, artistic cottage is as unique and beautiful as the shell for which it is named and is located on a large, tree-shaded lot off of a quiet, small street with easy access to many nearby shops and restaurants.

Olivella has a special feel, with an open floor plan, high ceilings, and eclectic artwork. Choose to sit on the inviting front porch, or the sheltered screened in back porch. To enjoy sunsets over the Pamlico Sound or a galaxy of stars at night, choose the crows nest deck high atop the house. This charming home has a fully equipped kitchen that is sure to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay during both summer and winter.

3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths: 2 with King, 1 with Queen.

The kitchen has recently been renovated, the baths feature spacious glassed-in showers, while the sunlit bath off of the primary bedroom features an oversized soaking tub!

Out front is a cute outdoor shower with changing room and a stained glass window. Olivella also includes a park style charcoal grill and picnic table in a shaded back yard along with a convenient outdoor fish cleaning station.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary satellite internet provided by Starlink, Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play. High chair.
Double door dog crate (42″L x 28″W x 30″H and includes an adjustable divider).

Linens provided. All beds made and one bath set per occupant provided.

Pet Friendly. Limit of 2 dogs, no cats. No Smoking.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

We thought the house and its location were outstanding until it rained. We loved being inside the lovely cottage. The kitchen was well stocked and the king bed upstairs was very comfortable. After the rain, the entire yard, driveway and access road (Sarah Ellen) flooded. We had a wonderful time but had to wade through about 4 inches of water to get to the car and drive to drier parts of the island to walk our dog after it rained. We were unable to walk or bike for 48 hours after the rain.

The Olivella is a great house in a great location. OIR was attentive to our report of a hole at the bottom of the outside front staircase. It was repaired quickly. Thank you. Wish the owners would provide comfortable seating for 6 on the screened porch so we didn’t have to rent chairs. Great vacation again!
