Located directly on Pamlico Sound, enjoy an island getaway at this tastefully decorated sound front end unit at the Southwind Condominiums on Ocracoke Island. Southwind I is part of a small four unit complex located within easy walking distance to Silver Lake Harbor, shops and galleries.

This two story townhouse offers two waterside decks with views of Pamlico Sound, Portsmouth Island, passing boats, kayakers, birdlife and amazing Ocracoke sunsets.

3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths: 1 with King, 1 with Queen, 1 with 2 Twins. Den with Double.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 5 cable TVs. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play.

The exterior offers two decks, hot/cold outdoor shower, charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. Shared shallow water pier with ladder (not for boat dockage). Covered parking.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

Beulahvista at Southwind is one of the best vacation rentals I have booked. It used to belong to a friend of mine, so I had been a guest there in 2010, 2013 and 2017. It was superb back then, but even better now with various upgrades. This condo is super clean, comfortable, offers everything you could want and is walking distance to everything. The view right on the water is the best in Ocracoke, with spectacular sunsets directly in front of the back decks and the charm of the ferries passing close by.

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sunset. It would be nice to not have to wait so long for the rental when it is obvious there are so few renters on the island. The check in is getting later and later and check out is getting earlier and earlier. Makes the first day and the last day on the island harder to manage without a home base.

We had a lovely time and were very lucky with the weather. Just one small complaint about a leak in the refrigerator's ice maker which tended to fuse multiple ice cubes together and made them unusable. House was clean and comfortable as usual.

We always love our time on Ocracoke. I wish we could afford more time there throughout the year :-). When we arrived at the condo we stayed in, there were 2 great blue herons in the water and dolphins frolicking further out in the sound. The sunsets were incredible and walks on the beach were beautiful. I love the quiet and solitude of the off season. It was nice that so many things, particularly restaurants, were still open the week of Thanksgiving. We did the Turkey Trot and the Holiday Market and thoroughly enjoyed both. Made a large dent in our Christmas gift shopping, too. Hope to be back in 2025!

We have been staying at the same condo for several years and the whole family loves it. We enjoy the dock to hang out. Our family dog likes to hang out in the sound or at the beach, then returns to “Sandy Paws Bed &Biscuit Inn”. The kitchen is well equipped. The condo has everything we need!

Problem with the microwave not working at times, it doesn’t work for 30 minutes, then starts working again. Could use larger trash cans in the kitchen! We really love this condo! We have stayed in it for 5 years. We appreciate the updates made to the condo.
