This waterfront property offers views of the lighthouse, Pamlico Sound and adjoining marsh. Let the lighthouse guide you to the sheltered sound side shoreline; perfect for water enthusiasts with great kayak access and an ideal backdrop for brilliant sunsets and beachcombing.

WP1314 offers Four bedrooms: 2 w/Queen, 1 with Queen and one futon, and one loft with queen. four baths.

Amenities include central AC/heat, complimentary wireless internet access, and 3 smart TVs. The Smart TVs in this home offer streaming services only. There is no cable or satellite service available. Washer/dryer and ceiling fans. Ping Pong Table.

Exterior offers a total of six porches, three are screened. 2 Hot/cold outdoor shower and park style charcoal grill.

Sheets and Towels Provided and beds are made for your arrival.

No Smoking. No Pets. Parking for 3 vehicles only.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

We had a great week. The dock addition was excellent. You do need to check the lighting in the kitchen. It was very dim.

Our only issue was that the AC in part of our rental was out without any sign of repair until Wednesday even though we called the day of arrival regarding it not working.

We had a wonderful stay. Sounds Perfect is a lovely house in a great location, tucked away in a beautiful corner of Ocracoke. The views are spectacular and all the decks and screened-in porches made our stay even more enjoyable. The new walkway to the sound is very nice and made accessing the beach/water convenient and easy, looks nice too. House was very clean, kitchen pretty well stocked. Only complaints; dining table needs to be refinished, it's sticky. And beds/mattresses could use replacements - they're old and not the most comfortable.

This review is for Sounds Perfect. We had no welcome bag left upon arrival and I had to call maintenance regarding 4-5 light bulbs that were burnt out upon arrival. While he fixed the one in the laundry room it was burnt out in a day again; obviously an electrical issue. The biggest issue was in accessibility to the beach because of the insufficient walkway that is always flooded. We had to ask permission from renters in neighboring cottage to walk thru their yard to get to our private beach. Seems to me a bridge with some height could be built to solve this problem. We tried walking thru it with little children and he got stuck and lost our shoes and balance.

This was our fourth year staying at this property and we really love it. The location is quiet yet close to most things and the private sound access is awesome. The cleaners did a great job this year, noticeably better than years past. Unfortunately, the decking to the sound was removed for some reason and recent rains made the sound completely inaccessible. We snuck on through the neighbor’s property but it was uncomfortable to do so and we used the sound significantly less than years past as a result. I really hope the owner replaces the decking or finds another way to access the sound since this is likely the main reason people book this house (it’s why we do). Otherwise it’s a great house with great amenities. We have to give up our week next year for a wedding but would continue to stay here if available.
