As of September 4, 2025 Willis Garden is no longer pet friendly, and maximum occupancy is 2 people.

Nestled in the popular Windmill Point neighborhood between Silver Lake Harbor and the Pamlico Sound. This home has a large front yard along with a screened porch and back deck.

1 Bedroom, 1 Bath: Bedroom with Queen Bed. The bathroom offers a shower only.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and internet TV. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers a screened porch, deck, and fish cleaning bench. Gas grill. A path to Silver Lake Harbor, great for launching kayaks.

Sheets and towels are not provided. If you would like to rent sheets and bath towels please give us a call.

No Pets Allowed.

No Smoking. No Phone.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

The house was wonderful. Very restful place. One item that needs to taken note of: the glass coffee pot is cracked and a part of its rim is broken.

The stay was great. The weather and surroundings were beautiful. The house could use some deep cleaning. There were cobwebs near the ceiling. A pizza pan might be nice. We loved our new friend Henry and we plan on returning again.

We arrived on 9/30/23. Willis Garden is lovely. On Sunday after reporting some maintenance issues, a maintenance man came to attend to the repairs. While was there , I sat on a dining room chair which promptly splintered and collapsed, causing me to fall. Fortunately, the gentleman was able to help me up. I reported this issue to you, and followed up with the Health Center on Ocracoke. Sleeping for the next two weeks was a problem. The fold out couch is awful, and I was unable to get in or out of the bed due to its height, and nothing to grab on to. That left the living room chair as the only option. All this aside, the home is lovely. My wife, and I made the best of a difficult situation and had a really nice time . We adored the house and its location. quiet, and pleasant. We have been coming to Ocracoke for 46 years, it is truly our favorite place. We look forward to our next visit. Fred And Bonnie McKenna
