We love Island Cat and Ocracoke Realty is amazing. The description is accurate but if owners feel like upgrading, an upstairs shower and internet would be great. That said, it is in an excellent location, great layout and comfortable beds. THANK YOU!

Loved the Island Cat and it was my family’s third stay at this house. Great floor plan that accommodated seven people. It reminds me more of a lake house due to all the wood throughout and the porch is so relaxing. Compared to other rentals, this was financially friendly and the kitchen is very well equipped!

Our stay at the Island Cat was great! The house is very clean and complete with everything you will need! The only thing missing is Internet but maybe they will add that in future years! The family really liked the temp control in each bedroom! Makes it easy to keep everyone happy! :-)

Our experience overall was amazing. Even though there was no internet, it wasn’t an issue. One thing I will mention to those with children who plan to stay in the future, be weary about the wood stove next to the living room tv. It stands on a concrete slab and my daughter tripped and fell cos she misstepped. We just blocked it off with luggage but I advise caution. Away from that, it has most of the “amenities” a house should; pots, pans, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, plates, bowls, cups, cutting board, etc. There were some games and books there for entertainment. The outside shower is VERY convenient after beach days as it’s next to the washer/dryer and bathroom. Again, overall a great stay!
