WV38: Sun Kissed

We stayed here in June 2023 and enjoyed it very much. We were able to come down in October 2025, albeint with a delay due to the nor'easter and overwash that closed Ocracoke for several days. House is fantastic. Gas cooktop and stover are really nice. Beds are comfortable. Walking distance to all of the village and shops; 1718, Jason's, Tradewinds, Books to be Red, etc. With under house parking, when there is flooding, you are not parking in water. Our 13 y/o yellow lab loves the fenced in front year. Would highly reccommend and will stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sun Kissed! The house was lovely, very well kept and the decor so cute! The kitchen had everything we needed and was well organized. The laundry room with the half bath was a great addition, and the screened in front porch a perfect place to start and end our day! The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. We loved our stay and would definitely book Sun Kissed again!

The house was fantastic. There was a fenced in yard for our dogs. We brought 2 vehicles but only drove when we went to lifeguard beach. We used a golf cart all over town. The house was so stocked I didn't use a lot of stuff I brought just in case. I loved the beach life. When i saw the 20 mph I was impressed. The island is beautiful & the house was in a great location. The beaches weren't crowded. We loved it so much we booked it again for next year.

We love the island, and really enjoyed a stay at Sun Kissed. Great house for kids and smaller dog. Close to everything, clean and neat. Loved the screen porch, yard, and carport area underneath. Would recommend to anyone.

My family and I had a wonderful time in Ocracoke. Ocracoke Island Realty (OIR) made our trip effortless with ease of booking, check in and check out for our house rental. We loved this house - it fit our needs perfectly! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The yard was just right for our dog, and we all enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch. The house was just around the corner from the Variety Store (groceries and sundries), a block away from great restaurants and coffee shops, golf cart and bike rentals. The bedrooms were so nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. House looked just like the pictures, except the yard has grass now (pictures show less grass). We will definitely consider this place next time we visit Ocracoke.

We never received the secure code to enter the house so we called the emergency number after 5:00 and the number was texted to us. In past visits to this house my husband and our dog Murphy had enjoyed playing toss and retrieve in the yard. This visit, I had to clean up 8-10 piles of dog poop from prior renters before they could play in the yard. It was raining the day we arrived but that shouldn’t have resulted in that many poop piles not having been cleaned up by prior renters. The vegetation beside the gate leading outside the yard also needs to be trimmed back. Overall we enjoyed the house and loved the new appliances installed since our last visit. We will definitely be renting Sunkissed again.
