"Great spot - Beautiful, historic, and completely refinished. We really enjoyed being in a historic home. You can tell it's been newly refinished and the space is very nice. Walkable to the downtown area with a nice yard as well."

"Pleasant family Thanksgiving getaway - The property owners were very communicative and everything they told us about the property and village was accurate. Definitely call ahead to double check exactly what is provided in terms of linens, soap, etc. They say this on their website, but not quite as clear in the VRBO description. Perfectly situated to walk to the marina, restaurants and shops, especially Ocracoke Coffee in the early morning. Well appointed kitchen, quite clean and everything we needed to use worked well."

"Lovely property - Enjoyed the location. The place was really clean and inviting. The kitchen was a little awkwardly located from the main dining area. Couple of broken chairs but we used the benches. 2nd bathroom is not upstairs with the bedrooms it’s on the first floor, very new and fancy shower. Great outdoor shower for post beach. I was surprised that there was no soap in any bathroom, when we asked the manager they said that they hadn’t gotten their shipment. Just as a point, they could have bought some, especially in this time of Covid 19. In addition there was no dishwasher soap even a day or two to start out. Since everything was closed by the time our ferry arrived it was a bit disconcerting to not have some basics. We wanted to vacuum... there was a nice one in closet completely totally clogged with dog hair from something like a retriever... took us two hours to get it to the point we could use it. The dryer was clogged with lint...I mean it was in dreadlocks. Both of these items should be on a checklist. In addition there were no garbage bags in kitchen but plenty in bathrooms. If I’d known I would have brought more supplies. But it did detract from a wonderful week at the beach."
